Open-sourced Application
Summary
Making applications open-sourced is an important step for any tool that is aiding vulnerable and/or disenfranchised populations. These populations in the highest risk bracket often have the greatest need for assessment tools, but also cannot commit the resources to develop in house solutions. A collaborative and open sourced tool allows for: 1) The utilization of many different architects which creates better design and lowers costs 2) Allows for the free and unlimited access and modification of this tool moving forward.
